“Wolves at Sunrise”

I took the photograph (used for this painting) of these big boulders near County Road 27 in southern Colorado near Powderhorn. It just looked to me like they would be a perfect setting for some wolves to be up on while scouting the valley just after sunrise. The models for the wolves are residents of PrideRock Wildlife Refuge, Terrell, Texas.

In the morning, I am going to South Texas for a few days to take photographs of whatever looks interesting. I have been sending paintings out every Monday and on the following Thursday of each week. I may not get back in time Thursday to send out the painting of The Window Trail in Big Bend that I finished this morning. So, this painting may be the only one sent out this week.

Some of the people who are receiving these paintings have mentioned that they make colorful screen savers. Also, if you know someone that would also like to be on the list to receive these painting images via email, send me their name and email address.

Cheers,

Acree
